Kin Learner Driving
About Me
I aim to build confidence, develop safe driving habits, and support every student from their first lesson to passing their test and beyond.
I'm a fully qualified driving instructor teaching both manual and auto with a passion for helping people. Learning to drive can be stressful, especially if you struggle with anxiety or nerves. I specialise in helping anxious learners feel calm, supported, and confident behind the wheel.
I take the time to go at your pace, break down each skill clearly, and create a relaxed, pressure-free environment. My goal isn't just to help you pass your test — it's to make sure you feel safe, capable, and confident every time you drive.
With patience, understanding, and a few reassuring tips along the way, I help learners transform nerves into genuine driving confidence. Every student is different, so I tailor each lesson to suit your learning style and experience level.
A Safe, Inclusive Learning Environment
Learning to drive is a big step, and everyone deserves to feel comfortable, respected, and supported while doing it. I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive space for all learners, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnic background, or neurodiversity.
Respect for Who You Are
You will always be treated with respect and understanding. I welcome students from all backgrounds and proudly support LGBTQ+ learners. If you have preferred pronouns, I will use them — just let me know what feels right for you.
Supporting Neurodiverse Learners
Everyone learns differently, and that's completely okay. Whether you are neurodivergent (including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or other learning differences) or simply prefer a certain learning style, lessons will be adapted to suit your needs. We can go at your pace, repeat things as often as needed, and use clear, structured guidance to help you feel confident.
Helping with Anxiety and Nerves
It's very common to feel anxious about learning to drive. I specialise in working with nervous drivers and those with high anxiety. Lessons are calm, patient, and pressure-free, with a focus on building confidence step by step. There's no judgment, only support.
A Calm, Judgment-Free Space
Mistakes are part of learning. You will never be criticised or rushed. My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe to ask questions, make progress, and grow in confidence every lesson.
Your Comfort Matters
If there's anything that would help you feel more at ease — whether that's taking breaks, adjusting lesson structure, or communicating in a certain way — just let me know. Your comfort and progress are always the priority.
Driving is for everyone
No matter who you are or where you come from, you are welcome here.
